Aim
To encourage positive images of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men in their roles in the lives of their children and provide parenting information to engage and support men in their children’s development and wellbeing.
Resource Description
You're A Dad: 7 storylines about being a Dad an A5 20 page full colour poster booklet for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander fathers and young men. The booket will also be developed in a template format for services to adapt for their own communities.
Poster series - A beautiful poster series of five national posters and three sets of local posters of five participating men's community groups from Alice Springs (NT), Wreck Bay (ACT), Yarrabah (QLD), Tiwi Islands (NT), and Hobart (TAS).

These resources are for
The You're A Dad is being nationally distributed, targeting young fathers through health services, early childhood home visiting services, child care services and jails. Three copies only can be ordered free online and Aboriginal communty controlled services in the sector have been sent a number of copies free. For additional copies, and for other services seeking copies, order on line ($40 per box pf 20 includes GST, postage and handling).
The five national posters have been distributed across Australia to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child and family welfare services, health organisations and other organisations and groups that support men’s projects.
The local posters are primarily aimed at services from Alice Springs (NT), Wreck Bay (ACT), Yarrabah (QLD), Tiwi Islands (NT), and Hobart (TAS) with limited copies available for wider distribution.
